Important Notes:

  1. As I’m listening, if something jumps out to me, I pause the book, make notes (or come back to it) so I can take action.  Take action quickly!
  2. If I’m listening and hear someone that relates to a current project, I stop and look into that person.  Consume as much as you can, around the hurdle that’s in front of you.
  3. It’s less important to finish the book/podcast, than it is to start applying.  Don’t get focused on finishing, just for the sake of finishing.  It’s more beneficial to apply quickly, learn, adjust, and move forward.
  4. Recommendations are important, but also I understand that you may not be looking for the same things that I was looking for at the time, so these recommendations might not hit right just yet.  Though, it would be great to have these as a knowledge base.
